Sales representative (m/f) for Japan

About our company

We, the Schletter GmbH are a medium-sized metal-processing company located in Kirchdorf, 50 kilometers east of Munich, with a staff of about 800. Moreover, we have sales representatives working for us in Italy, Spain, France, England, China, Australia, the USA and Greece.  

 

Using our state-of-the-art machinery, our qualified staff members produce components for solar mounting systems, trade fair stands and the railroad industry. We want to offer our demanding customers a wide range of high-quality marketable state-of-the-art products combined with a first class service.

 

 Your tasks:

  • Setting up of a sales office in Japan
  • Implementation of our sales strategies according to our guidelines
  • Presentation of Schletter products and services to the customer
  • Self-reliant technical advice for customers in your sales region
  • Conduct of price negotiations
  • Representation of the company at trade fairs
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Solution-oriented attitude in the project phase
  • Consistent status reporting – project status
  • Business trips
  • Strategic thinking and acting
  • Ability to work in a team and structured action
  • Self-confident and communicative behaviour

 

Your abilities and qualifications:

  • Sales know-how and experience
  • Architecture Study or Building engineer background is welcome
  • Economic formation respectively an accordant further training
  • Very good communication skills
  • Experience with all current MS-office applications
  • CAD Knowledge is welcome.
  • Experiences in the area of solar mounting systems are welcome
  • Willingness to travel is a must
  • Self-initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and purposefulness
  • Very good German or English and Japanese native speaker level.
